Outline of Research at the Start	本研究の研究対象は、占領期およびそれ以降の時代に、米軍基地での演奏経験を経て歌謡界に進出した女性のジャズ・歌謡曲歌手および彼女たちの楽曲である。文学研究の精読の方法論を用いて各作品を分析することを通じて、当時の日本において、ジャズを歌う女性歌手の身体および楽曲が、占領期に米軍に性的サービスを提供するために雇われた売春婦や、「パンパン」と呼ばれた街娼女性たちの経験を比喩的に想起させるものだったことを明らかにする。
