国際的には包括的な性教育（CSE）が急速な拡がりを見せているのに対し、日本では未だそういった動きは十分ではなく、中でも知的障害児へのCSEの視点に基づいた性教育の推進は喫緊の課題である。知的障害児へのCSEが進まない原因として、知的障害児の理解の特徴に応じた、CSEの視点に基づく適切な教材・資料がなく、教え方がわからないことが挙げられている。本研究では、これまで代表者が行ってきたCSE実践から得られた知見と国内外の先行研究を踏まえ、知的障害児を対象とするCSEのプログラム、具体的には教材とガイドラインを開発し、その効果を新たに作成する評価指標を基に明らかにする。
