Outline of Research at the Start

This work aims to develop highly efficient photon counting type X-ray, gamma ray detectors using metal halide perovskites semiconductor single crystals. The focus will be on optimization of single crystal growth of various perovskites such as MAPbBr3, MAPbI3 and others using solution based growth technique, as well optimization of detector fabrication techniques using different contact materials as well as different electron-hole transport layers to achieve detector with high gamma detection property and performance stability.
