Outline of Research at the Start	地域コミュニティの荒廃などをはじめとした、現代日本が抱える複雑な課題群に対し、デザインは根本的な解決策を持ち得ていない。従来のデザイン方法は、これらの課題が持つ複雑さを充分に扱うことができていないからである。複雑さを扱うためには、表層に現れる特定課題のみならず、その課題を出現させるシステムそれ自体を対象とした介入策の検討が必要である。本研究は、システム思考とデザイン思考の融合により現れてきた、システム分析と創造的介入策の立案を通じて複雑さにアプローチする、システミックデザインを日本の社会システムと社会課題を対象に適用することで、実践レベルで活用可能なツールとそれを支える方法論の構築を行う。
