Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、国内の鉄道駅に掲示されたり、インターネット上で閲覧されたりする鉄道路線図の視認性や情報獲得の容易性について検討する。
特に、従来の研究での検討では不十分であった、路線図内の駅名配置及び駅名表記方法要因を中心として、実験心理学や認知人間工学の立場から精緻、実証的かつ総合的に検討し、主観的印象レベルおよび認知レベルを統合した鉄道路線図情報獲得モデルを提起、心理学的立場からの実証データに基づいた路線図表示ガイドラインの作成に資する基礎データの提供を目指すことを試みる。
