Outline of Research at the Start

山形大学和算研究所には地域の和算研究者が寄贈した紙媒体の資料が所蔵させている。また、中央図書館にも佐久間・志鎌文庫を中心とする多数の紙媒体が残っている。このままではこれらの資料は活用されずに朽ちていくことになる。本研究では、紙媒体の資料から効率的にデジタルアーカイブを作成し、和算書データベースと連携させることで朽ち果ててしまう地域和算資料に光を当て、永続的にその価値を保存することを目的とする。更に、小幡圭祐、佐藤琴が所属する山形大学附属博物館が中心的な役割を担う山形アーカイブと和算書データベースの融合によりGIS情報取り込んだ地域情報と融合したポータルサイトの開発を行う。
