Outline of Research at the Start

骨欠損は交通事故や細菌感染などが原因で骨がなくなった状態であり、一般的な骨折の治療では治療が困難である。治療として患者自身の骨を移植する治療が広く行われているが、骨を採取した場所の骨折や神経損傷などが大きな問題となっている。我々は、世界に先駆けて細胞のみで3次元の構造体を作製する方法を確立している。この研究の目的は、細胞のみで構成された構造体を作製することで、骨欠損に対する新たな治療法を開発することである。
