Outline of Research at the Start	MRIは、様々な有益な情報を提供するため広く利用されるが、特に脳の疾患に対する診断は経験を積んだ熟練医でも難しい。本技術が実現すれば、世界中の大規模病院施設のMRI装置に低コストで実装でき、無数の疾患の可能性を考慮する必要がある現場医師への極めて効果的な診断支援が行える。脳血管疾患は死亡理由上位の病気であり、これらを含む病気の早期発見と適切な治療は、死亡者数の低減ならびに、患者およびその家族の生活の質（QoL）向上に貢献できる。
