Outline of Research at the Start	日本人の２人に１人は将来がんになると推測され、その内３人に１人は死亡すると言われる。本申請研究では、次世代のがん治療法として注目を集める光線力学療法の治療上の課題を解決し細胞深部でも適応できる技術にすることを目的とする。具体的には、エネルギーの変換が可能な素子を利用して、細胞透過性が良い光を利用することで、がん細胞に対する強い毒性を有する材料の開発と治療効果の詳細な検討を行う。
