Outline of Research at the Start	本研究では、体温変動から排卵日を予測できないだろうかという問いに対し、卵胞期にみられるLHホルモンのパルス状分泌は就寝時皮膚温のウルトラディアンリズムを変化させるはずであるという仮説を立て、成人女性を対象として就寝時皮膚温を継続的に測定するとともに、実験動物を用いてLH分泌と皮膚温変化との関係を直接的に調べて本仮説を証明することで、排卵日を精度良く推定する新しい手法を提案することを目的とする。
