Outline of Research at the Start

口腔粘膜上皮角化細胞は再生医療の重要な資源の1つであり、それから作製される自家培養口腔粘膜上皮細胞シート（COMECS）は最先端角膜再生医療の画期的治療法となっている。
一方、品質管理法として、作製される複数のCOMECSの中から抜き打ちで破壊的検査が行われ
るが、細胞ロスを伴うため医療経済的に非効率的で、結局検査未実施のCOMECSが移植される
という矛盾を抱え、非破壊品質評価法の開発は喫緊の課題である。
動画/画像イメージングによりCOMECSの運動能を定量化し、従来の破壊検査指標との相関性を分析することにより、新たな非破壊品質評価法の開発を目指す。
