Outline of Research at the Start

生活習慣病の病態には、インスリンが主に作用する器官である、脂肪組織、肝臓、そして筋肉が関与する。本研究では、筋肉の超音波画像やその計測値に着目し、1) 脂肪組織や肝臓の超音波検査値との関係、2) 血液生化学検査値などとの関連から、生活習慣病の病勢や治療効果を把握するための筋肉超音波検査法の確立を目指す。
