Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、これまでの研究対象であったA. N. ホワイトヘッドの哲学を一つの参照点としながら思想史的読解を行い、19世紀後半から20世紀初頭にかけてのイギリスにおける「想像力の哲学」の隠れた系譜を明らかにするものであり、人間の知のあり方を「想像力」の観点から問い直す当時の哲学の可能性を探るものである。
