Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、第一次世界大戦下の日本におけるドイツ軍捕虜の音楽活動を対象に、それが収容所の受入地にどのような文化的影響を与えたのか、また戦時捕虜の活動として国際的にどのような特色を持つのかを明らかにすることを目的とする。特に、名古屋収容所が例外的に都市部に置かれていたことに注目し、名古屋におけるドイツ軍捕虜の音楽活動を近代名古屋の文化史の中に位置づけるとともに、活動の特色を国内外の収容所と比較しながら明らかにする。
