Outline of Research at the Start	本研究では、カント美学からさまざまな種類の醜さを抽出し、種々の醜さの関係性、連続性、組織性を統一的原理から解明することで、醜さという美的概念の体系化を行う。これにより、美学において部分的にしか明らかにされてこなかった醜さの概念の全容を明らかにするとともに、それらを包括的に説明可能とする理論モデルとしての「醜さの美学」を構築する。その際には、可謬主義的・自然主義的な理論的特徴を明確化することで、認知科学やAI研究などの自然科学をベースとした学際的研究へと本理論モデルを接続する準備を整える。
