Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は伊藤道郎のダンス・アーカイブ構築により、散逸し失われつつある一次資料の収集と考証により舞踊史を補完し、戦後の創作活動の内実を解明することを目的としている。具体的には、①資料の利活用の基盤整備と舞台芸術史の補完、②ドラマトゥルクの手法による伊藤道郎の過去作品の再解釈、③舞台芸術の歴史的・社会的価値を再評価である。アーカイブ化は、過去の作品の「文化的記憶」の再生装置の機能だけではなく、作品を通して歴史認識や社会との関係性を学ぶ機会を提供する。複数の文化領域を横断した戦後の創作活動を考証し、舞踊実践に内包される社会との相互作用に着目しつつ、日米両国を繋いだ伊藤道郎の業績を歴史的に検証する。
