Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、デジタル化以降の映画メディアの状況を踏まえ、フランスの映画批評家アンドレ・バザンの著作を多面的に読解するものである。映画の支持体がフィルムからデジタルに移行するに伴い、旧来の映画理論の有効性が問い直されてきた。写真の客観性に基づくリアリズムを説いたバザンの映画論もその例外ではない。しかし、近年の文献の発掘作業によって、バザンの映画論が多様な広がりをもつものであることが明らかとなりつつある。本研究では、バザンの鍵概念の一つである「不純な映画」を広義にとらえ直し、その映画論を多面的かつ包括的に再検討することを通じて、その今日的意義を明らかにすることを目指す。
