Outline of Research at the Start

「人形写真」の鑑賞時を例に、アイトラッキングデバイスを用いて、類似的表象の見分けの判断を明らかにする。申請者はこれまで、自身を型取りして作った人形と一緒に撮ったセルフポートレートの「人形写真」を制作・発表してきた。博士論文『人形写真論』(2020) では、鑑賞者のコメントを元に「人間と人形の見分けがつかな」くなった時に人形写真の表現効果は消滅することを明らかにした。しかし実際に鑑賞者がどの部分を見て認識したかは不明だった。そこで本研究では、展覧会で参加型作品と称して実証実験を行い、鑑賞者が言語化していない視線を解析し、芸術実践に基づく研究のアプローチから類似的表象の見分けについて分析する。
