Outline of Research at the Start	『萬葉集』諸本に見られる旧訓には、「正しい訓み」を追究する上では顧みるまでもない誤りとして、従来その実態が検討されることなく斥けられてきた「誤訓」が存在する。本課題は、そうした「誤訓」の背後にある当時の歌の解釈や付訓の経緯をあえて追究することで、中古中世における萬葉〈語・歌・集〉の享受や利用の実態を明らかにすることを目指している。具体的には、①使用語彙の時代性に由来する「誤訓」とその背景（語彙の受容実態）の解明、②現在と異なる解釈に由来する「誤訓」とその背景（歌の享受実態）の解明、③書写・付訓作業上の問題に由来する「誤訓」とその背景（歌集の利用実態）の解明、の三つの小課題に分けて研究を進める。
