Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、古今集時代の和歌表現の中に、膨大に存在する「新歌材」を研究対象とし、その全体像を提示する上で、漢詩文からの単線的な影響下で形成されたという現在の研究主流を捉え直し、「新歌材」の具体的な詠まれ方を起点とし、多角的にその形成過程を跡づけることにより、その形成過程におけるメカニズムの多様性を体系化し、古今集時代の和歌表現形成と展開の全体像を構築するものである。
