Outline of Research at the Start	本研究では日本における寺社縁起（注：寺院の起源を物語る説話）の中世から近世へと変貌する通史的研究の一環として、釈教歌（注：仏教に関わる和歌のこと。本研究では寺社縁起が詠み込まれた和歌を中心に扱う）の享受論を試みる。従来通りの解釈や享受をめぐる和歌の注釈的研究を行いつつも、新たに起源の創出と変遷をめぐる寺社縁起の通史的視点をもそこに加えることで、釈教歌の動的な解釈史を描き出す問題に取り組んでみたい。
