本研究は、フランス象徴主義の大きな影響のもとで創作されたイスパノアメリカの19世紀末の文学運動「モデルニスモ」の詩が、フランス象徴詩との比較において有する固有の性質を、原典の綿密な解釈に基づいて、それが生じる文化・社会的要因とともに示すことを目指すものです。19世紀末のヨーロッパに広まっていた「デカダンス」の美学のイスパノアメリカにおける展開と、詩の表現におけるエロティシズムとジェンダー規範の関係を扱います。
