Outline of Research at the Start

公的に知的批判を行う「知識人」の意義をめぐっては、時代の変遷とともに様々な議論が展開されてきた。この問題は、学術研究のレベルを超えて、広く社会全体の問題であり、現代社会を考えるうえでも非常に重要な視角であると考えられる。本研究では、第二次世界大戦後に支配的だった知識人の在り方が大きな見直しを迫られた1970年代、なかでも、当時の公共圏で活躍した思想家ユルゲン・ハーバーマスと詩人H・M・エンツェンスベルガーに対象を絞り、戦後ドイツの知識人論の重要な一断面の解明に取り組むと同時に、現代を捉えなおすパースペクティヴを提供することを試みる。
