Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、定形節補文を伴う英語の動詞構文の言語変化について、認知言語学的・構文文法的アプローチから考察・分析するものである。具体的には、知覚や推論、伝聞といった情報源の言語化にかかわるエビデンシャリティ (evidentiality) の方略として発達している語用論標識・談話標識を主な研究対象として、構文化 (constructionalization) の理論や認知文法をはじめとする理論的枠組みを援用した通時的・共時的分析をおこない、構文の発達過程や構文ネットワークの解明を目指す。
