Outline of Research at the Start

外国語教育において、外国語の知識や技能だけでなく、思考力の指導と評価が重要になってきている。そこで、本研究は、日本の英語教育における認知欲求 （認知的に負担がかかる活動を好む傾向） の役割を明らかにすることを目指す。具体的には、日本の英語教育の文脈に合った認知欲求尺度を作成し、その妥当性を検証したうえで （研究１）、認知欲求とモチベーションといった第二言語学習の情意的側面との関係 （研究２）、および認知欲求とスピーキングやライティングのパフォーマンスとの関係を明らかにする （研究３）。
