Outline of Research at the Start	幕府の知行割制度は、享保改革期にかなりの程度確立し、その制度にもとづいて知行割が行われた一方、第11代将軍（のち大御所）徳川家斉の治政期には、家斉の子女と縁組した続柄大名に有利な所領替が認められるといった不公平な幕政が展開したことや天保改革の上知令において幕府の強い恣意性が発揮されたことなどが幕政史の中でつとに指摘されてきた。然らば、家斉期において従前の知行割制度はどのように運用され、それがのちの幕政にどのような影響を与えたのか。本研究では、家斉期における知行割の制度運用の実態を明らかにしつつ、それがその後の幕政にどのような影響を与えたのかを知行割の制度と運用の両側面から解明するものである。
