Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、植民地期朝鮮（1910-1945）の出版史を、「大衆化」という視点のもと同時期の日本出版界との関係性に着目して再構築しようとするものである。朝鮮総督府の武断政治から文化政治への統治政策の転換を背景に、1920年代の朝鮮では多種多様な出版物が刊行され、農民・労働者を含めた「大衆」が新たな読者層として無視できない存在となっていた。本研究では、①朝鮮における大衆誌の登場と展開、②啓蒙誌における編集方式の変化、以上の二点について日本の出版界との関係性を考慮して考察することで、1920年代に入り朝鮮出版界が大衆化していく過程を解明することを目指す。
