Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、神殿建築が出現した形成期早期（3000-1800BC）を対象として、自発的な協働労働によるモニュメントの建設が、なぜ、どのように開始されたのかを明らかにするものである。いち早く神殿の建設が始まったペルー中央海岸に位置するプラヤ・クレブラス遺跡で考古学的な発掘調査を実施し、環境変動と生態資源利用の変化、モニュメンタリティの生成過程に着目した分析と考察を通して、上述の課題に迫る。
