Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、フランスの文書館史料に基づいて、普仏戦争から第一次大戦前までのフランス銀行の対国家業務（対国家融資、財務省勘定の開設）と国債担保融資の動向に関する分析を行うことを通じて、同行が国債市場にもたらした影響を明らかにすることを目的とする。
同行は創立時より、国家（政府・議会）の介入を受け、とくに財務省との関係を基に業務を展開してきたことで知られる。国債市場は、国家の介入を色濃く受けうる領域であることから、普仏戦争以降の国際政治やナショナリズムの存在を背景とした戦時を見据えた同行の業務と密接に関わり、したがって、中央銀行の金融政策の形成史における要素をなしていたと考えられる。
