Outline of Research at the Start

Paper 1 focuses on the defensive non-market strategy of incumbents in the Japanese mobility industry. The focal incumbent and challenger are already set and secondary data collection will be used to identify relevant non-market aspects and to draft interview guides for primary interviews.
In Paper 2, I aim to examine how Swedish online casinos manage non-market aspects in international markets. Secondary data collection will serve to identify 3-6 suitable cases that have made internationalization efforts, after which I commence primary data collection mainly through interviews, as with Paper 1.
