Outline of Research at the Start

企業は、自らの事業がうまくいかない時に、現在の事業を継続するのか、方向転換するのかを検討する必要がある。企業の事業転換については、その要因や意思決定プロセスに焦点を当てた研究がなされており、本研究代表者も博士論文にて、事業転換の種類を大小に分類したうえで、事業転換が生じる要因とプロセスを分析した。一方で、事業転換した企業のその後を追跡した研究蓄積は少ないのが現状である。本研究では、事業転換がその後のベンチャー企業に与える影響について調査し、既存の事業転換前に関する理論との統合を試みる。これにより、ベンチャー企業が行う事業転換に関する研究を進展させることが期待できる。
