Outline of Research at the Start	北米地域において、複数の国境を超えて北上する中南米他出身移民は、米国やメキシコによる規制の厳格化のもとで、排除の対象となる一方で、米墨加の難民認定制度を通じた庇護の対象にもなってきた。とりわけ、メキシコは2010年代半ばより国際機関である難民高等弁務官事務所（以下、UNHCR）や難民申請を草の根で支援する移民シェルターによる関わりのもとで難民認定制度を拡大し、受入国としての側面も強めている。本研究は、このような異なる水準の多様なアクターによる相互連関のもとで分岐する移民の生きられた経験を明らかにするとともに、北米地域で顕在化する庇護と排除を内包するレジームの全体像を描き出すことを目的とする。
