この研究プロジェクトは、日本のマタニティケアを利用している外国のルーツを持つ女性の体験を理解することを目指している。異なる背景を持つ女性からのアンケートデータと質的インタビューデータを活用し、日本での妊娠や出産の利点と課題を多角的に把握することを目的とする。参加者が語るエピソードは、日本がより多様で共感的なマタニティケアの基準を策定する方法を探るために利用される。
