Outline of Research at the Start	学士課程段階の職業教育及びその提供機関の増加傾向が世界的にみられるなかで、専門職大学等の新型高等職業教育機関の社会的受容状況の解明が喫緊の課題である。本研究では、国際比較の観点を取り入れつつ、中国を事例にして、応用技術型大学等の提供側と受け手側への意識調査を通じて、新型高等職業教育及びその提供機関の社会的受容状況を明らかにする。具体的には、①世界諸国の高等職業教育機関の展開の類型化を図り、中国の高等職業教育機関の②外部、③内部の諸主体からみる高等職業教育の利点と課題を明らかにする。その結果から、東アジア地域の視点を含めた高等職業教育の展開のより精緻な類型化と、全面的な比較及び示唆を考察する。
