Outline of Research at the Start	教育史研究の進展により、近代大学の理念とされてきたフンボルト理念は20世紀初頭に成立し、神話化されたと指摘されている。この理念と関係の深いフンボルトの人間形成論も同時期に正典化されていったと考えられる。しかし正典化の過程はいまだ明らかではない。本研究は、大学理念と人間形成論というふたつの側面から20世紀初頭以降のフンボルトのテクストの受容史に着目することで、従来の思想史理解に修正を加える。同時に、科学技術の進歩による人間形成観と大学観の変容という現代の問題に関して、思想史研究から示唆を与える。
