Outline of Research at the Start	第一に、進化の観点からの教育研究の内容を精査し、これまでの教育哲学研究の中で論じられてきたことと照らし合わせて共通点や相違点を整理しながら、科学的知見が教育哲学の諸論点・テーマに対して何をもたらすのかを明らかにしていく。第二に、道徳教育に関する自然主義的な考察を行う。利他行動の進化や、道徳に関する科学研究の成果を踏まえつつ、道徳教育研究において自然主義的な立場をとることの意義について追究していく。以上二つの作業を行いつつ、教育や道徳性を主題にしていないものを含めて人間諸科学や自然主義的な哲学の文献を幅広く渉猟し、教育哲学の諸論点・テーマとの関連を探っていく。
