Outline of Research at the Start

小中学生の不登校は増加し続けており、その原因の一つとしてメンタルヘルスの悪化が指摘されているが、子どものメンタルヘルスに寄与する要因は特定されていない。一方、近年、腸内環境がうつ病や発達障害などの精神疾患と関係するという報告が増えている。腸内環境の変化が、メンタルヘルスに影響する可能性があるが、健常者を対象とした研究報告は少なく、特に子どもの研究はほとんどない。本研究では、長期キャンプに参加する健常な子どもを対象とし、自分自身を対照とした介入研究を行うことで、キャンプ生活による腸内環境の変化がメンタルヘルスに影響するかを評価する。
