Outline of Research at the Start

近年、「通わない大学」である通信制大学へ入学する18-22歳の学生数が急増している。通信制大学はいまや、従来受け入れてきた社会人だけでなく、未就業学生を含む若年層学生の双方への教育を担うようになった。しかし先行研究では、通信制大学の若年層学生の学習の実態や、通信制大学が若年層学生に提供している学習支援の実態は明らかになっていない。そこで本研究では、質問紙調査と縦断的なインタビュー調査により、通信制大学における若年層学生の学習状況や学生支援の実態と、若年層学生の入学動機と大学適応の実態を明らかにする。
