Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、日本において実践例の少ない、医療的ケア児者を含む重症心身障害児者の生涯学習を推進するためのプロジェクトを実施し、その意義と課題を検証するものである。プロジェクトでは、重症心身障害児者（以下、重症児者とする）を対象にした生涯学習の機会を創り、継続的な参加を促す。そしてそのことが、青年期、成人期の重症児者の発達や生活の質の向上にいかなる影響を及ぼすかを、重症児者本人と家族、支援者へのインタビュー調査とアンケート調査、事例検討により検証し、重症児者にとっての生涯学習の意義を解明する。
