Outline of Research at the Start

日本人の信頼の水準は本当に低いのか、仮に低いとすれば“なぜ”日本人は信頼することを苦手とするのか。本研究では、見知らぬ他者を信頼せず、人間関係におけるリスクを避けようとする日本人の傾向に焦点を合わせ、先行研究（山岸, 1998）で示されてきた信頼行動の社会差を検討する。また、二重過程理論（e.g., Evans, 2008）を援用し、直観に基づく信頼行動と熟慮に基づく信頼行動を弁別したうえで信頼ゲームにおける意思決定時間や情報探索過程を分析することで、日本人が“なぜ”信頼行動を示しにくいのか、その心理プロセスを明らかにする。
