Outline of Research at the Start

資源の交換は、社会や文化の重要な構成要素の一つである。本研究は、交換が社会的な結びつきと社会秩序の形成にどのように寄与するかに焦点を当てている。本研究の目的は、「互いの効用を増大させる交換」だけでなく、「効用を変化させない（もしくは減少させる）交換」が、社会秩序を形成するメカニズムを解明することである。シグナリング理論に基づくと、効用を変化させない交換や、効用を損なう交換も、適応度の上昇につながる可能性がある。交換がもたらす直接的な経済的利益と、シグナリングを通じた適応度の上昇をわけて議論することにより、交換が社会秩序の形成に寄与するメカニズムを明らかにする。
