Outline of Research at the Start	本研究での研究対象は、非常に対称性を豊富に持っている局所対称空間やあるいはその中でも特別な志村多様体と呼ばれる幾何的対象である。特に、それらのコホモロジーと呼ばれる不変量について調べる。まずは、複素係数の場合にArthurらによる保型表現のエンドスコピック分類を用いてコホモロジーが消滅する次数を調べる。また、局所Langlands対応やその圏化・幾何化といった近年進展の著しい事柄との関係についても同時に研究する。
