Outline of Research at the Start

臨床研究における様々な疾患領域において，有効性や安全性を評価するためにカテゴリカル変数は広く使用されている．カテゴリカル変数は分割表として集約され，有効性や安全性などの関心に対して分割表の特徴や傾向を推測できる解析手法を適用することが重要である．しかしながら，実臨床の現場では量的な集計解析の適用事例が散見され，誤った解釈に導かれる懸念がある．また，既存のカテゴリカル解析の手法が臨床上の要望を満たしていないことが考えられる．本研究では，分割表間の群間比較が可能な解析手法の研究に取り組む．また，特定の臨床研究におけるカテゴリカル変数の課題解決を図る．
