Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、中間エネルギーの重イオン衝突を利用する、という新しい方法によって、これまでの他のいかなる実験でも作り出すことができなかったような最強の電磁場を地上に作り出す。そうすることで、量子電磁力学の臨界強度を超えるような真に強い電磁場の物理の研究を理論的に推し進める。
