Outline of Research at the Start

The impact of light on semiconductor plasticity has been gaining interest since ZnS was reported to show large plasticity in the dark. Yet, the effects of light on polycrystalline plasticity remain unexplored. This study will elucidate how light influences grain boundary-based plasticity.
