Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の学術的背景には、日本で急増する人口減少都市における、都市機能誘導施設（以下、「都市施設」と省略）の再配置計画問題がある。その学術的「問い」は、計画基準に関する定住人口から流動人口への転換である。それにより応募者は、定住人口が減少しても流動人口を増加させて、住民の自立的な生活を維持する計画立案が可能になるという仮説を持っている。以上を踏まえた、研究の目的は、人口減少都市を対象に、定住人口から流動人口へ転換した、公共交通網に基づく都市施設の再配置計画の手法を構築することである。本研究の学術的新規性は、定住人口に基づく従来の再配置計画手法を、流動人口に転換する点である。
