Outline of Research at the Start

東日本大震災の発生後、被災地沿岸部には非常に多くの防潮堤が建設され、人々の生活に影響を与えている。今後も大規模津波等の想定を受けて防潮堤が建設される可能性があり、その建設が地域に与える影響を多様な視点から分析していく必要がある。
本研究の主な目的は、東日本大震災の防潮堤建設が地域に与えた影響について、震災前後の住民等の生活変容状況をもとに考察することである。そのために、東日本大震災後に防潮堤が建設された地域を対象に、申請者等が過去に記録してきた震災前の生活に関する証言データの分析や、公開情報調査、現地調査等を行う。それらの結果から防潮堤建設地付近の生活変容の状況やその要因を示す。
