Outline of Research at the Start

With the aim of providing practical insights for the progress of all-solid-state Lithium metal batteries, we monitor structural changes of solid-state electrolytes during milling through in-situ X-ray diffraction. It reveals transient intermediates, microstructure variations, hot-spots effect and subtle phase transformations during the milling process. Such an implementation can appeal to both academic and industrial audiences, addressing fundamental aspects of mechanochemical reactions.
