Outline of Research at the Start

Metal free luminescent carbogenic nanomaterials (LCNM) constitutes a novel class of materials which contains rich number of π-conjugated domains with relatively high degree of local disorders. Here, we propose a unique strategy to intensify weak long-wavelength emissions by strongly coupling the electromagnetic modes of photonic cavities and the optical transitions of these LCNM. The final aim of this proposal is the generation of direct and efficient white light emission (WLE) devices applications.
