Outline of Research at the Start	Light possesses angular momentum (spin and orbital) along the direction of propagation. However, evanescent fields can carry spin angular momenta (SAM) transverse to the direction of motion. This research can reveal the effect of the transverse spin of light on a particle near the evanescent field.
